On May 29-31, the international water and climate forum "Balkhash -2024: challenges and Solutions" was held in Balkhash.
The purpose of the forum: The International Water and Climate Forum "Balkhash-2024: Challenges and Solutions" is aimed at uniting the actions of civil society, scientists, cultural figures, government, business and the international community on conservation
ecosystems of the transboundary Balkhash-Alakol basin in the context of growing water, climatic, environmental and socio-economic challenges. Representatives of central and local government agencies, local communities, public organizations and media, academic experts, cultural figures, representatives of industrial enterprises, agriculture, business, as well as diplomatic missions and international organizations are invited to the Balkhash 2024 Forum.
A group of volunteers, consisting of 1-2 year college students, under the guidance of teacher Gulzada Karifullayevna Shayzhanova, took an active part in this forum. They met the delegations and provided the guests with the necessary information.
